IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ACCREDITED CERTIFICATION BODIES: A New Mandatory Application Guide Has Been Published.
The "Certification Scheme Guide for the Main Product Group Halal Slaughter & Processing of Perishable Animal Products" prepared by the Halal Accreditation Agency (HAK) has been published.
The Guide, which will enter into force on 5 March 2026 after a 6-month transition period, is binding for all domestic and foreign bodies accredited in the field of "Halal Slaughter & Processing of Perishable Animal Products" as defined in the relevant HAK documents.
The Guide introduces mandatory implementation requirements for the personnel structure and certification schemes of bodies carrying out accredited halal certification in the field of "Halal Slaughter & Processing of Perishable Animal Products", and for the operations they will carry out within the scope of this scheme.
