Declaration of Impartiality (P8F2-R2)

1. TAKVA declares that it will maintain its impartiality in all of its activities carried out with both its permanent and contracted personnel.

2. TAKVA will provide all of its services in accordance with the principles of confidentiality, impartiality and objectivity.

3. TAKVA top management will not exert direct or indirect pressure on those responsible for the process in certification decisions.

4. No consultancy services are provided for obtaining or maintaining certification.

5. No services are provided for the design, implementation or maintenance of management systems, or for internal audits.

6. TAKVA does not certify other certification bodies or organisations under their organisational control.

7. TAKVA cannot be the designer, manufacturer, installer, implementer, supplier, distributor, operator or maintainer of the products, processes and services it certifies.

8. Accordingly, TAKVA will under no circumstances even offer the following consultancy-related services:

8.a. Preparation and production of manuals, guidelines and procedures, and internal audits;

8.b. Participation in decision-making on management system matters;

8.c. Suggesting that certification would be easier if a specific consultancy were used;

8.d. Giving specific advice on the implementation and development of management systems for final certification.

9. For every standard assessment, both permanent and contracted auditors accept:

9.a. that, for up to 2 years before the audit date, they have had no commercial relationship with the organisation to be assessed and no connection, including management system consultancy, that could affect their impartiality and objectivity;

9.b. that they meet the requirements of the work foreseen;

9.c. to carry out the work in compliance with the relevant accreditation rules, standards and TAKVA procedures.

10. All internal and external personnel and committees that may influence certification activities must act impartially, and TAKVA Certification does not allow commercial, financial or other pressures that would compromise impartiality.

11. All of these matters are secured by contracts.
